Jason and I got the bug...we had to go camping! Plus we have a brand-spanking new never-been-used 1000 Trails Membership from Nan and Ron that we've been itching to use! Since the Tulip Festival was extended an extra weekend, we decided it was the perfect opportunity to hit up the La Conner preserve...at least for one night! Rachel and Peanut really manned up to go (though it might be the last time before Peanut makes her appearance...next time we might have to check out the cabins). Thanks for the camping gear loan, Youngs!

On Saturday we got up early (luckily!) and headed for the tulip fields to get some pictures before the rain started coming down! We met up with Dawn and Derek, and had lunch at the Friesen family favorite - the Calico Kitchen.
We got home in time to hide from the rain and visit with Josie, Lucy, and David back in Seattle. Busy weekend!
