Today we met with the lovely Cami, who is coordinating our string "quartette" for the wedding. The group, "Quartette Con Brio!" met while playing as principal players in the Everett Symphony, where they also met Jason's dad, Ron. We spent the afternoon getting to know Cami, touring her amazing Queen Anne home, and listening to her favorite classical tunes. Today reminded us again how one of our favorite things about planning this wedding has been getting to know amazingly talented and passionate people who are very committed to their work, between Cami, Pastor Vic, photographer Kate, Erica and more! So we are set for ceremony music and are working on nailing down the service itself.
Just after my last post, I recieved a box full of paper leaves from loving Cali helpers, Grandma and Aunt Cathie, and immediately put them into the centerpieces and started packing them up, ready for transport! I did it so speedily I even forgot to take pics of them before I packed them! You will see the finished product at the event anyway. :)
Megan's dress is in and it fits, so everyone is officially dressed! I'm taking her this week to get altered and hopefully pick out some shoes. Maggie's dress is shortened and ready to party with her adorable silver shoes.
In other news, two friends had healthy baby boys this week (though one couple thought they were having a girl until he popped out...that really sent Rachel into a panic!), so we are feeling good baby karma this summer. Let's hope Peanut stays cozy for at least another month!
