We played around with Mom's dress to see what it might look like if we had it altered. Is this better than the cut and paste picture?? :) :) I tried not to look like such a weirdo...apparently that is hard for me. I'm a little worried about wedding day photos, honestly, after all the awesome ones my sister has taken of me in wedding dresses! Click on the pics if you want to make them bigger!
We went to Steve and Keely's wedding last night. It was so much fun! We danced the night away. We LOVED the location...the Pickering Barn in Issaquah. We learned some great tricks from them...like having all the decorations packed in tubs with the set up directions taped to the top! They were married on the grass in front of the gazebo, and then the reception was held inside. They said adorable vows to each other that they wrote themselves.
This weekend I went to a wedding in Port Orchard at a golf/casting club for my cousin. It was SUCH a beautiful place!! Here are some pics of the reception area for additional ideas - she had a lighter blue theme... they even had the hanging blue ball things. Oh my - that doesn't sound so good.
The favors were little bubbles wrapped and tied with bows. And the bride/groom containers on the tables had hershey kisses in them. And she made little care packages for the kids for during the ceremony so they would stay quiet and eat snacks. Brilliant! 
Different style of dragon cake...not sure if I can pull this one off!
