The room was so gorgeous, and we especially loved the large dance floor! (Dawn and Derek really get down, too!).
Mom was a great date, as usual. We especially loved the personalized squished pennies. Derek collects squished pennies, and was able to order some with adirondak chairs that said "Dawn and Derek July 20th, 2009." How cool is that?? The cake was also gorgeous with adirondak chairs as toppers. Another fun thing was that Dawn was sweet enough to arrange a van to take anyone home after the wedding, so we got to ride home with 10 drunk friends who were pretty entertaining. We also got a chance to chat with Jen and Jody, Dawn's photographers who also traveled all the way from Seattle. Dawn loved her engagement session photos so much that J&J offered to fly to Rhode Island to shoot the wedding, too! They are super sweet, and said they have been to the CITS about 20 times and love it. They said it has become more and more popular over the last 2 years, maybe since it was in Seattle Bride?? They love the roof pics and the water feature. :) I can't wait to see J&J's shots from last night...Jody did show us one dancing picture of D&D that he was pretty proud of!

Aww, this is such a sweet post!! It's so fun to hear from someone who notices the details!!!! :)
It was so much fun to have you and your mom there! Thanks so much for making the big trip out!!! I just wish I could have spent more time with you. I think I should apologize retroactively for the drunk friends.... I can only imagine what that ride home was like. :)
