Jason and I spent a romantic evening shopping for things we might want to lovingly fill our home with in our new life together. Ha! Not so romantic as he's complaining about how long it takes, but it really only takes that long since he has to stop to inspect some gadget every 3 minutes. Apparently he just doesn't really want to discuss the merits of all the different plain white dish sets there are in 4 different stores... Anyway, after rejecting my first choice, he picked out these "Luster" dishes at Crate and Barrel. I like them too, they are fairly plain (Dad says let the food color your dish) with a little bit of fancy, but not too expensive. What do you think?

If we pick these, we will also register for plain white dishes for everyday use, and the cute matching set of appetizer plates!!
