Happy Birthday Katie!

Last weekend we went to Ocean Shores to celebrate Katie's 30th! Katie rented a cute little house right on the canal that was pretty close to the beach and just over the bridge from the interpretive center. Hee hee.
I used the opportunity to try out making a tiered cake! It's Katie's fav; carrot cake with cream cheese frosting!

Traveling was difficult, and the top layer looked a little mushy. It looked awesome when piled with 30 candles though!!

Tomorrow Kristin and I are going to try making a tiered golf cake for Justin's bday. I baked the cakes last night, and here was an adorable by-product!
