Today we hit the bricks with renewed energy after we had a chance to vote on the current district proposal and found that 75% of people would rather continue to strike than accept the offer. Some people even said they were willing to go to jail for this cause! So, with an injuntion looming, we moved our picketing location from our comfy spot with friends and an amazing view on the Woodridge Hill to the loud and bustling corner of Main Street and Bellevue Way in downtown Bellevue. We joined all the schools from the West Zone...man are those high school people intense! We also got to chat with some women from the bargaining team, and also heard the Marysville saga from a fellow BSD teacher (how much would that suck! She says strikes follow her...). Most importantly, we had a guest picketer...Ron came down to carry a sign and walk the line with us! It was great to have his ever-present support, experience, and words of wisdom.

Aren't we the cutest picketers you've ever seen?
